Una cosa vorrei sapere,se gi� oggi si realizza qualcosa di simile alla
trasmutazione nei reattori veloci.Per es.,ho letto quest'articlo,"nuclear
waste,chasing myths" dove l'autore spiega (

reactors, especially those operating with fast neutrons, will be able to
"burn" all sorts of fuels, natural or depleted or reprocessed uranium,
plutonium from civilian reactors or military plutonium, minor actinides

natural uranium use will be highly upgraded (theoretically by a 100-fold
factor), but some long-lived waste will be transformed into energy, thus
reducing in an important way the long-term toxicity of the waste.

years, instead of to day's odd 50 000 years ". Non ho capito se questa cosa
si realizza gi� oggi in Francia con il proprio reattore veloce o e solo
un'eventualit� (cio� arrivare ad aspettare un tempo di meno di 1000 anni per
arrivare al livello di miniera) che si � solo investigata?E che ruolo
possono/potrebbero avere i reattori veloci in questo senso,cio�,� credibile
quello che sostiene l'autore?
Perch� l'idea di Rubbia non ti convince (al dire il vero non sei il primo a
cui lo sento dire)?
