Proviamo:

1) P = eps_0*X*(E + v x B)

2) D = eps_0*E + P

3) div D = 0 (no cariche libere)

4) rot D = rot P = 0 (simmetria centrale)

Segue D = 0, da cui E = -P / eps_0
Sostituendo nella 1), con v x B = wBr (r vettore):

P = eps_0*X*wBr / (1 + X)

Dato che X = eps_r - 1 abbiamo:

P = (eps_0*(eps_r - 1) / eps_r) * wBr

rho_p = - div P = -2 * (eps_0*(eps_r - 1) / eps_r) * wB

sigma_p = P(R) dot vers(r) = (eps_0*(eps_r - 1) / eps_r) * wBR
