Galileo Galilei condivideva l'idea dello spazio assoluto?

Scrive Koyré nel 1943 (conosco solo la versione inglese, ma cercherò nelle opere in italiano)
"Thus, in order to appear evident, the principle of inertial motion presupposes
(a) the possibility of isolating a given body from all its physical environment,
(b) the conception of space which identifies it with the homogeneous, infinite space of Euclidian geometry, and
(c) a conception of movement-and of rest-
which considers them as states and places them on the same ontologicalevel of being."

Lo spazio di Galileo è geometrico, senza luoghi privilegiati.
Bruno di spingerà ben oltre, e pagherà ben oltre le sue ipotesi.
